Iran too strong for India in Asian U20 Volleyball Championship

TEHRAN – Iran swept past India in straight sets (25–17, 25–14, 25–22) to advance to the 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship quarters.

Iran will play the winner of Sri Lanka and Kazakhstan on Thursday.

Behrouz Ataei’s men have already defeated China and South Korea in group stage.

The 2018 Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship is the 19th edition of the Asian Men's U20 Volleyball Championship, a biennial international volleyball tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA).

The tournament is being held in Riffa, Bahrain, from 21 to 28 July 2018.

The top two teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship as the AVC representatives.
